Frequently asked questions

Why do I need to give you my 501(c)3 information?

In order to qualify for the grant, the applicant must be a 501(c)3 organization. We use the information you give us to complete your application for the grant, expediting your access to this exciting new advertising opportunity.

Why do you need my website login information?

Another part of the grant application process is that all applicants install Google's tracking codes into each page of their website. This allows Google Adwords to track how effectively your ads are bringing people to your website, and more importantly, how many people are then purchasing tickets. This data allows us to improve your advertisements so we can continually improve our efforts to help your business grow.

What do I get from the Google Grant?

The Google Grant is funding given by Google to help nonprofits reach new audiences through digital marketing. Google offers grants of $120,000 a year ($10,000 a month) in the form of credit in their search engine marketing system, Google Adwords.

What can I spend the Google Grant on?

The funding provided by the Google Grant is for thier search engine marketing system. This allows you to better market your theatre and reach new audiences. Because the grant is in the form of a credit, it cannot be spent elsewhere. It is specifically for advertising via Google Adwords.

How will I know the Google Grant is working?

Part of the service we provide is to create weekly performance reports for you so that you can clearly see how your ads are functioning. This includes your ads' click-through-rate, conversions, and other performance metrics.
